The movie:Sherlock Holmes

I may say that Sherlock Holmes is one of the greatest movies i have ever seen,but i must especially mention that,Robert Jr. Downey made fantastic work,thus the movie becomes a "masterpiece".Mostly i like in the movie was the fact that the character dedective Sherlock Holmes' case solving methods and his observations,which were detailed and successfully written. Everythins was just as good as must be done.By the way i didnt know that there is a "Sherlock Holmes Museum" in London.Probably Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (the writer of Sherlock Holmes) didn't know, that his fictional character will be more famous than him.. :)

Turkish film "Bal" wins Golden Bear at Berlin film festival

The winning film, "Honey," tells the story of a 6-year-old boy who stops speaking when his father disappears. It was filmed in the lush mountains of the Turkish countryside where the boy goes in search of his father, a beekeeper.

Director Semih Kaplanoğlu said the award was "like a rebirth" and he hoped that it would be an inspiration to young filmmakers in Turkey.Honestly,As a Turk i'm delighted to hear this kind of news.I wish best regarts to Semih Kaplanoğlu for this good work..

As a Democratic State,Turkey still discuss the role of Army.I remember a speech,made by Prof.Doc.Birol AKGÜN:


"In Communist States or federations,The Military bureaucracy did not allow you to be free even at your home.For example in USSR a commendor used to take place on tv channel to propaganda the significance of the current regime and gather the people around the move that System needs.When you get bored of the program and zap him,you could see another green uniformed blue eyed man saying the same things,then u switch it over as well,and see another commender who is saying "Comrade,do not play with the channels! "



Lately i've been in shock after i saw Mr.Basbug on tv,while he punched the table and tried threaten the press instead of confessing that Army is not able to remove the insects (!)... dissappointing
